Dr Fabian Pius Mghanga

Dr Fabian Pius Mghanga was appointed the TTCIH Executive Director for a three-year term by members of the Board of Governors in July 2021. He is now the third person to lead this prestigious health training institution in the country. Born in the Tanzanian commercial city of Dar es Salaam, Dr. Mghanga graduated from the University of Dar es Salaam (Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences) with a Medical Degree, and went on to earn a Master of Medicine in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging from the Huazhong University of Sciences and Technology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Regenerative Medicine from the Diponed Institute of Regenerative Medicine.  Dr. Mghanga has supported the delivery of healthcare services by working in a variety of healthcare facilities and training institutes, initially as a medical professional in remote areas of Tanzania, and then as a tutor/lecturer of primary healthcare physicians. He has also worked as a researcher to advance human wellness.
