USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) Project

The Government of Tanzania, through the Ministry of Health,(MoH) and President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), has increased focus on ensuring continuous health commodities availability at health facilities. This has been demonstrated through the development of The National Pharmaceutical Action Plan (NPAP) 2020. USAID GHSC is supporting the Government to strengthen supply and availability of health commodities at facilities level. To achieve this capacity building of healthcare workers is fundamental. TTCIH in collaboration with USAID GHSC is developing eLearning plat form and contents for healthcare workers to access and update their skills relating to supply chain of health commodities. Currently TTCIH has developed the eLearning platform and contents on eLMIS, Bottom up Quantification, Key Perfomance Indicators (KPIs), Health Commodities Revolving Fund (HCRF) and Data Analytics.
