National eLearning Platform for Health

 

This is project supported by Global Fund for the Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender elderly and Children to develop a unified National eLearning platform for pre and in-service health care workers. TTCIH is leading the technical implementation of the platform www.elearning.moh.go.tz currently the platform has enrolled more than 60,000 users. Patients are best helped when healthcare practitioners are up to date with the latest in healthcare information and technology and have easy access to all the information they require on the causes, symptoms and prognoses of the diseases they are treating. eLearning in healthcare, therefore, provides a time-efficient way for healthcare professionals to stay abreast with the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of various illnesses and diseases.

 

Is the project implemented and developed by Tanzanian Training Centre for International Health Ifakara (TTCIH) collaboration with MoHCDGEC and supported by CBC Tanzania. The National eLearning Platform for Health offers access to updated contents and reduced cost

The project aims to support the comprehensive learning component. TTCIH is a technical lead to develop the Digital Learning platform and Digital earning contents. The platform targets in-service healthcare workers mostly working in remote areas.

Recent eLearning Events

Following successful implementation of Portable Mobile Learning System (PMLS in Tanzania under support UNFPA Tanzania, TTCIH signed contract with UNFPA Rwanda to implement the Portable Mobile Learning System in Rwanda through localizing the content. Localization included translating the content from English to French.
